Managing an iPad Classroom is a three hour synchronous workshop that looks at apps and strategies to effectively and efficiently integrate iPads 1:1 in your classroom through Classroom, Schoolwork, Keynote, and more!

What will I learn in this course?
MANAGING iPAD BASICS
You'll learn the basics of navigating around Apple Classroom and the benefits of using it to manage your classroom. Then, we'll look at the workflow of Schoolwork and how you can use it to distribute engaging activities to your students.
CREATION APP BASICS
We'll jump into creating projects with both Keynote & Pages to get you and your students publishing and animating to demonstrate content knowledge.
PRODUCTION APP BASICS
Get your students using GarageBand & Clips to produce movies and podcasts to level up your already created projects with just a couple steps!
How do I sign up for the course?
All East Penn SD Teachers have Schoology accounts through their Google Account. By signing into that account at eastpennsd.schoology.com, you will be able to add the course using the course code on the previous page.
This particular course is a synchronous session, which means the majority of the learning will take place in person, but you still may access materials and submit artifacts on Schoology to earn credit.
What will be due at the end of the course?
Because this is a three hour course, at the end of the third hour you will submit and example of your project. This does not have to be 100% done in order to get your hours. Rather, just submit whatever you have done at the conclusion of this session and feel free to elaborate and continue to work on it past the three hours if you wish. The purpose is to develop and activity for your students to engage with.
