The AI pages on the Technology for teaching and Learning site have been updated to include a framework that can be used to engineer prompts, as well as sample prompts.
May 20 - Granting Students Access to Restricted Videos
There may be videos that students are unable to access as they are labeled with a restriction. This is a result of a Google Age based policy that may classify the videos content as not appropriate. When teachers deem these videos as appropriate they can provide access by embedding the video in a Google Classroom assignment, or as materials.

OrbitNote, a literacy support tool within the Read & Write family, is available to all deltalearns Google account holders signed into the Chrome browser. This week's video tutorial explains how to manage OrbitNote's integration with PDFs, including enabling and disabling its default PDF reader functionality in Chrome. It also showcases some of OrbitNote's key features.

December 10 - Disable Private Wi Fi
Your device may unexpectedly disconnected from the SD37-Open Wi Fi, as a result of the Private Wi Fi being set to Rotating or Fixed. To prevent access from being interrupted the Private Wi Fi must be set to "Off" while connected to the SD37- Open network. This issue is most prevalent on iPhones, iPads and Macs on OS 15 Sequoia.

October 8 - Extending/Mirroring Screen on a Mac
There may be times when what is on the laptop screen needs to be identical to what is seen, or mirrored to the projector or display. There may also be instances when you may be showing students something like a video, but want to work on something different on your laptop. In the later case, extending the screen allows you to do this.
October 15 - Google Docs Pageless Format and Adding Cover Images
Adding a cover image can help make documents more engaging, attractive and elegant. Cover images can only be added when in pageless format on a Google doc. Cover images do not print and can not have text inserted ontop. Pageless format provides an endless document without pages, and eliminates the need for page breaks.

At this time of year, many teachers like to create mail or contact lists with parent email addresses. In the past this could only be accomplished through the O365 portal, but now lists can also be created through the Mac OS Outlook App.

Shared Google docs have added a notification feature. Now when an edit is made by a collaborator a notification can be sent to other collaborators informing them of the change.
