All apps are centrally managed and assigned. Before requesting an app please consider:
The apps Privacy Policy - is an account required, and if so what information is required? When apps require a student's personal information such as name, age or email address, a privacy review is required along with parental consent.
Cost - apps are purchased per iPad. If there is a cost to an app, an account code is required. When 20 or more apps of the same title are purchased the cost is reduced by 50% in most cases.
The iOS of the iPad - Many apps have a minimum iOS requirement. You can check this in the apps store and determine the iOS of the iPad in Settings > General > About > Software Update.
iPad Management - the district manages iPads using a Mobile Device Management system known as JAMF. iPads that are managed can have apps pushed out remotely. When iPads reach end of life, the iPads are no longer managed or supported and cannot have additional apps installed. Currently iPads unable to update beyond iOS 14 are no longer managed, and in an "AS IS" state.
