Ask the administrative assistant, or records clerk, to run the “GAFE Student List by Block” report for Secondary Schools, and the, “Student GoogleApp and AUA Approval” report for Elementary Schools. These reports have the student’s passwords, and @deltalearns.ca emails. If the email is not on the report, either the parent has yet to consent, or the student has yet to agree to the AUA. Keep in mind these reports are highly confidential and must not be left in the view of others.
Student passwords can also be accessed through Teacher Connect, by viewing the student and selecting the General Tab, then from the drop-down select registration and enrolment. Look for the Network ID/Password field. On the left of the colon is the Network ID (Student number), to the right of the colon is the password.
Run a report from Teacher Connect. Select the Reports tab from the menu, and select Forms response Grid.
View each student individually in Teacher Connect, and look under the Forms tab.

Students who have a more complex name (hyphenated first name, two worded first name), often do not fit the standard email structure. In this case ask the Admin Assistant, or records clerk, to run the “GAFE Student List by Block” report for Secondary Schools, or the, “Student GoogleApp and AUA Approval” report for Elementary Schools from the dashboard. This report contains the correct email and passwords for all students. As this report contains highly confidential information, it is critical that the document be kept in in secure manner.
Teachers can also view the student’s correct email in Teacher Connect. This is found by viewing the student, clicking on the General tab. The correct email can be found in the email field.
No. Unless a student withdraws from the district and then re-enrolls, otherwise consent is for the duration of student’s time in the Delta School District.
The student's email in CIMS takes a few days to update as it requires ITS to manually push it through to My Ed which then pushes it to CIMS. As it is a manual process ITS only does this a couple of times a week, so there may be a delay in the email populating CIMS.
Admin assistants can provide a list of emails by running a report which contains the student’s email (providing parents have provided consent) whether the students has agreed to the AUA, and the student’s password.
