Apps & Services

Below is a list of apps and services that may be used with students pending review of the service Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.  Should the Terms of Use and Privacy policy be deemed acceptable, a Privacy Impact Assessment will be completed. Access may be revoked should concerns be identified. In all cases teachers must ensure:

• Parental/Guardian Consent is provided. It is the teacher's responsibility to modify this Other Specific Online Tool Consent and obtain consent prior to a student using the app or service. Consent must include the:

  • • Name of the service

    • Educational purpose and use of the service

    • Type of data students will store or upload

    • Personal identifiable information that will be used to create the student's account (I.e., email, name, school...)

Teachers review and guide students as to the type of information that is shared to ensure students:

• do not store or share, personal sensitive or confidential information.

• accounts and data are deleted  when the service is no longer required.
