It's time to get that residency verification completed. The deadline required by the state is September 30th! The good news is that you only need to do this once per school year. We've done our best to simplify the process for you and outline which types of documents qualify for residency verification.

Karen is a local author who will be at the Stroudsburg Learning Center on October 6th and streamed virtually to everyone at CPDLF during the School Assembly.
We encourage all to join virtually and, if you can, in person!

If you cannot make it in person but would like to purchase a book to follow along the day of you can buy the book on amazon here: https://a.co/d/03mwvOUv
Today is marks the end of Checkpoint 1. This means you can expect to see progress reports in PowerSchool soon. Please review this progress report to get a closer look at how your learner is doing in their classes.
We're proud of the work we see happening. Our emphasis is on progress over perfection. We want to see learners showing off their Honey Badger Traits, like tenacity and resiliency.
Don't forget to celebrate all the little milestones with your learner!
Join us September 26th at the Pickle Me Poconos Festival! We'll be there from 12-6 and we'd like to see as many CPDLF families from the SLC region as possible. This event is free and fun for the whole family!
Stop by and participate in a pickle-themed craft! It's kind of big dill. ;)

Don’t forget that you can help your school by participating in:

As we prepare to introduce a new character trait next month, we’re wrapping up our focus on growth mindset—but we hope the mindset itself sticks around!
Growth mindset reminds us that we don’t have to know everything, get everything right the first time, or be naturally good at something to succeed. We grow by trying, asking questions, learning from mistakes, accepting feedback, and trying again.
As you talk with your learner at home, keep looking for those everyday opportunities to celebrate effort, progress, perseverance, and the courage to try something new. A simple shift from “I can’t do this” to “I can’t do this yet” can make a big difference.
Our character trait may be changing, but at CPDLF, we’ll keep growing together all year long.
