Dear Parents and Guardians,
We have several important updates regarding state requirements and our goals for school improvement. Please take a moment to review the information below.
Thank you to everyone who quickly responded to our request for residency verification documents! As a reminder, a new state law requires these updates.
78 to Go! We are so close to having our entire school community verified. Thank you to everyone who has submitted so far—help us close the gap by sending yours in today!
District Requests: You may have been contacted by your local school district because the law states you have to submit to both the cyber school and the district of residence. While we will share the documents you gave us with your district, please note that the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) released a new official form today, February 20th. Your local district may still require you to complete that specific form and submit with residency verification documentation to them directly.
Our school is currently designated as a Comprehensive School Improvement (CSI) school due to PSSA and Keystone scores. We are committed to improving, and your voice is vital to our improvement plan.
Family Survey: Please complete this survey developed by PDE.
Note: This survey was designed for all schools, including brick-and-mortar buildings. If a question feels geared toward a physical campus, please answer as best you can from a cyber perspective.
Student Input: Next week during Morning Meeting, students will be asked to complete their own survey. Please encourage them to share their thoughts honestly!
To help us exit CSI status, it is more important than ever that our students participate in PSSA and Keystone testing.
These tests are the primary metric the state uses to "grade" our school. Beyond the state requirements, we use this data internally to tailor our support and resources to your child’s specific needs. Let’s show the state what our students are truly capable of!
We are currently drafting our School Improvement Plan for the 2026-2027 school year. Stay tuned for more opportunities to provide input and help shape the future of our school community.
Thank you for your continued partnership!
