PTO Updates
I wanted to take a moment to share my gratitude for all the Learners, Parents, and Guardians who joined me for live feedback sessions or submitted their feedback through our form. It was wonderful to see so many faces and hear the ideas you have for our school. We'll be taking that information into consideration as we develop CPDLF's School Improvement Plan.
In the meantime, don't feel like you have to wait until to send us good ideas. You are always welcome to submit feedback for us so that we can make small adjustments when needed. Email ceo@cpdlf.org when you something to tell us!
Do you have friends or family who might be interested in enrolling? Registration for the 2026-2027 school year has begun!
It's a simple process:
Follow this link to our Request Enrollment Information Form.
Complete and submit the form.
Our enrollment team will reach out to them to answer questions and determine if CPDLF is the right fit for their child.
A CPDLF team member will get them started in our registration portal. This is where documents are uploaded and forms are completed.
An enrollment session will be scheduled after we process the paperwork. We have enrollment sessions every week!
Attend the enrollment session and your child is ready to begin!
Share this information with friends and family.

We'd like to plan another summer trip abroad for CPDLF Learners and their families. We're just in the early stages of planning, so there are no details on dates or locations yet. At this time, we'd like to collect information on how many people might be interested in traveling with us. Please fill out this survey to register interest.
The survey is not a commitment: it's more of a "yes, I might be interested!"
When we know how many people would be interested and when they'd like to travel, we can then propose dates, destinations, and information on pricing so that families can start to budget for this trip.
We had an absolute blast on our 2024 trip to the United Kingdom and we're looking forward to the possibility of taking CPDLF abroad again!
It's a tough time to be cyber school. People who haven't experienced cyber school are making decisions on behalf of your child and these decisions may limit your ability to choose the best educational option for your child.
As always, we believe education is the solution. We need to educate our legislators on cyber school and the CPDLF experience. Once they get to know us through your story, they'll be better equipped to make informed decisions.
We need our CPDLF families to reach out to their local legislators and tell them why CPDLF matters. Write down the story of how you came to CPDLF.
What influenced your decision?
What was the brick-and-mortar experience like?
What is different about cyber school?
How has your child changed since attending CPDLF?
Follow this link to search for your legislator. Send them a letter or email about your child's story and what public cyber school does for your family.
Our Parent Teacher Organization got off to a fantastic start! Within a week of forming, this incredible group of parents and guardians got right to work on projects that will make a difference to our learners.
They wrote letters of encouragement for each CPDLF learner taking the PSSA and Keystone exams.
They organized a skating party for the SLC-area learners.
They're busy working on more wonderful projects and events for our school community.
Keep your eyes open for announcements about a possible Field Day at the ALC and SLC (with a virtual option), a Summer Pen Pal program, and some fun field trips and events.
Would you like to join them? Send an email to pr@cpdlf.org to let us know.
We are in the midst of the state testing season! Please encourage your child to attend their testing session, if applicable, and to do their best. We appreciate your participation and encouragement.
