You’ve heard us talking to learners about our values of “connect, growth, and empathy,” and those are not simply good ideas that we teach children - we practice them internally, too. Right now, we’re focusing on growth. We’re always learning and growing so that we do the best for learners.
One sign of growth that you’ll see in the 2026/2027 school year is a new school management system called AMP/edu. This new platform is trusted by many schools across the country and we’re pleased to bring it to CPDLF. It will impact everyone involved in CPDLF, from administrators to teachers and learners to parents. For parents and guardians, you’ll have access to a new Parent Dashboard. It will look similar to the sample below and will be filled with resources and tools to help you stay connected to your child’s education. One of the biggest changes - and yes, we heard you when you said this would be helpful - is that you can view multiple children from the same dashboard.
We’re looking forward to rolling out more details about positive changes and growth coming to CPDLF. Thank you for being part of this journey.
Cyber Charter Week is a celebration of school choice and the many Pennsylvania families who have found success through cyber education. At CPDLF, we are proud to serve learners across the Commonwealth by providing flexible, personalized public education opportunities that meet families where they are.
As part of the celebration, we invite families to participate in Cyber Day on May 12! We’ve created a special resource page filled with helpful information for CPDLF families, including FAQs about cyber school, fact sheets, learner coloring pages, and downloadable social media graphics you can use to advocate for cyber education. Families are encouraged to send completed coloring pages to pr@cpdlf.org for a chance to be featured on CPDLF’s social media channels.

We also want to recognize and thank Barbara Gleim for publicly supporting Pennsylvania families and addressing important conversations surrounding public cyber charter schools. Her advocacy highlights the importance of preserving educational options for families across the state.

Finally, we encourage families to share their own stories with their local legislators. No one understands the impact of cyber education better than the families who live it every day. Consider sending an email or letter explaining how cyber school supports your child’s academic success, mental health, scheduling needs, safety, extracurricular passions, or family circumstances. Encourage your representatives to continue recognizing cyber charter schools as a valid and important public education option for Pennsylvania learners.

We know the end of the year is rapidly approaching. Encourage your learner to stay on task and finish the year strong!
