School Board Meeting

We recently had our September School Board Meeting. Those interested in catching up on everything that was discussed can read the minutes here. We welcomed new parent representatives, Alicja Snyder and Dianna Snyder. Board Officers were elected and business and financial reports were presented.

Updated Attendance Policy

Principal Yahner has been providing you with the latest changes in how we are required to track attendance this year and we have also share out via the Learner and Learner Coach Guidebook. The CPDLF Board has followed up with updating our CPDLF Attendance and Punctuality Policy to reflect these changes. Please take the time to read this document and familiarize yourself with these requirements, how we define attendance and punctuality, and how you can best support your learner.

Referrals Welcome

CPDLF is growing and we have room for more! If you know of a family looking for flexible, individualized education, send them to us. Referrals from current CPDLF families tend to be very successful because you know what it takes to thrive at CPDLF and how CPDLF can solve problems for families who aren't enjoying their current school situation.

Please send names of interested parent/guardians, phone number, and email address to pr@cpdlf.org. We'll ensure your learner gets PBIS points as a "thank you!"

Save the Date: PTO Meeting

Our PTO is officially forming for their first full-length school year! If you'd like information on how to get involved, please email Alicja Snyder at pto@cpdlf.org. You can also find more information on the CPDLF PTO Facebook page. The PTO will be planning to elect officers for this school year and discussing events we can host for our learners. Right now, there are plans to bring in authors for virtual Meet the Author sessions and other in-person and virtual special events.

Got a Story?

CPDLF wants to feature family stories! Tell us how CPDLF works for you, how you came to cyber school, and how this has made a difference for your learner.

We want to hear from everyone! Your testimonial is important in telling our story because we believe each family has something special to say about their own journey.

Please send a quick email to pr@cpdlf.org and we'll schedule you for a short, 30-minute interview to tell your story. Don't worry: we'll do all the writing! You can also do it yourself and submit a video to that same email address.

We are thrilled to welcome Katie Schwartz to our team as our new Special Education Teacher. You'll be hearing more from her as she gets involved with individual learners and their families. We're eager to rely on her expertise and watch her help learners on their educational journeys.

If you haven’t created your PowerSchool Parent Account yet, now is the time! PowerSchool is CPDLF’s new home base for parents and Learning Coaches—and creating your account unlocks the information and tools you’ll use throughout the entire school year.

Once you’re logged in, you can:

Complete required back-to-school forms
Complete your annual residency verification
View daily schedules and assignments
Check live grades and attendance records
Submit absence excuse forms
See important school announcements and updates
