April 2nd-5th

Welcome Back!

I hope everyone had a lovely break. As we return these last couple of months of kindergarten are going to fly by. 

For this week we will start with a bit of talk about Spring and then launch into a unit on our solar system. We will work on a variety of outcomes through the space theme. 

In Fundations we are continuing with Unit 3 week 4. The Fundations trick words this week are is/his. I will be sending home some more homework sheets today to go with unit 3. 

We will be doing reading groups this week but because of having Monday off I will send home books on Thursday this week.

In math we will be starting a unit on geometry and measurement. Throughout our learning centers we will continue to work on counting to 10, filling in the missing number, concepts of before and after.

Dates to remember:

April 8th- Early Dismissal for solar eclipse. For this day we are instructed to go with the early closure information you gave at the beginning of the year. If you are unsure of what you wrote or know of changes for this day please let me know asap.

April 19th- PD Day (No School)
