April 22nd -26th

Hello!

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. It was a gorgeous day today. 

Thank you to everyone who donated to the Easter Seals Campaign. We had a total donation of $151 from our class alone! The office will continue to take donations until Tuesday. The Easter Seals Ambassador will visit our school on Wednesday morning.

I will be out of the classroom from Wednesday- Monday please send a note or call the office for any after school changes or important information for the substitute. 

Literacy- This is testing week for Unit 3 in Fundations. We will be reviewing the material but no new lessons will take place. I will be doing the testing on Monday and Tuesday. 

Math- We will continue to discuss the properties of 3D shapes and will introduce non-standard measurement.

Small groups working on tapping and blending sounds to read and spell words.

Students have been enjoying experimenting with 3D Shapes. They have been very proud of their structures. 

Working with 3D shapes we talked about how our structures need a good solid base to avoiding crashing down.
