All pupils starting CHS in Year 7 should have:

Chrome Book 

All pupils must bring their own Chromebook to school each day.  It should be clearly labelled in a robust case and should be fully charged.  

These devices are to be used for educational purposes only e.g. checking School emails, internet research, use of camera and video when appropriate with the permission of a member of staff.  For more details visit Year 7 Digital Learning Information. 

Pencil Case containing:

• black pens

• blue pens

• a green pen

• pencil

• pencil sharpener

• eraser

• highlighters

• colouring pencils

• pair of compasses

• protractor

• ruler (30cm rigid)

• Casio fx-83GT CW (old calculators may be ok as long as they are some variant of Casio fx-83 or Casio fx-85)

School Bag

It is advisable for pupils to have a rucksack which will enable them to carry their equipment and books efficiently. We do not specify specific colours, but would ask that it is named and identifiable with a tag or keyring. 

Games Bag

Please ensure the bag is distinguishable and named on the outside or with a tag.

Mobile Phones

Pupils may bring phones to School but may not use them on the school site. Mobile phones are collected each morning by the Form Tutor stored safely and returned to pupils for the end of the School Day.
