Timing of the School day
Pupils are welcome to be in their form rooms from 8:25am, morning registration starts at 8.40am.
Pupils who arrive early go to the library where they are supervised. The library is open from 7.30am.
Breakfast is served in the Dining Hall from 8am.
Morning
The day begins with a short form period where pupils are given information and notices about the day ahead.
Afternoon
A second longer form period is held before afternoon lessons begin. Form tutors review pupil planners which are an invaluable communication tool between home and School.
A wide range of activities take place each day during the lunch break and at the end of the day
Lunchtime
Activities typically take place between 12.15 and 12.45 after which pupils are able to have their lunch.
After school
Activities after school usually run from 4 – 5 pm but occasionally from 5-6 pm by prior arrangement.
Pupils who wish to remain in School can do homework in the library or relax in the recreation room until 6pm. Parents should collect pupils from the library.

Teachers must be informed of any changes to the usual pick up arrangements.
If a child has not bee collected at the expected time, parents / carers will be contacted and the child will be taken to After School Care.
If School is unable to make contact with parents, carers or emergency contacts and the child remains uncollected at the close of After School Care provision, the Social Services Emergency Duty Team will be contacted for advice.
