Holiday Clubs & Wraparound Care
Many parents have commitments which don't easily fit in with the normal hours of the School day. To give you peace of mind, and your children a friendly, warm and secure environment in which to stay, we provide before and after School care in a specially designated area.

Senior School Wraparound Care
Before and after School provision is available in the Senior School Learning Resource Centre (LRC). The LRC is supervised from 7.30am and situated next to the Head’s corridor, where there are members of staff available from 8am. Breakfast is also supervised in the Dining Hall from 8am.
After School, pupils are supervised in the LRC until 6pm and can use all of the facilities, including the ICT areas, with filtered internet access. There is no charge for this facility. There are also many co-curricular clubs available for pupils to participate in.
Pre-School to Junior School Wraparound Care
Our provision of care for Infant & Junior pupils extends beyond the normal school hours of 8.40am and 3.30pm, offering facilities for pupils to be cared for between 7.30am and 6.00pm in a familiar environment where they can relax and enjoy a wide range of activities.
Children can arrive at School from 7.30am onwards for Breakfast Club, where they will be supervised by our own dedicated Before-School team. Between 3.30pm and 6.00pm parents can take advantage of our After School Care, details of which can be found below.
There are various clubs available to KS2 pupils, which run after School for up to one hour; these may be subject based activities, music groups or sporting activities.

CHS Holiday Club
Pupils of CHS, aged 3-11 years old, are welcome to take part in CHS's own Holiday Club which runs throughout the year during each School holiday period.
The CHS Holiday Club is held in School and features a weekly themed itinerary which includes crafting, baking, face painting and exciting day trips for all to enjoy.
CHS pupils are are welcome to join in for as little as half a day, as much as the full duration of the Club or to dip in and out as they wish.

Visiting Holiday Clubs at CHS (Junior & Senior School)
The Enterprises team partner with external holiday camp providers during the School's holidays, offering an array of activities.
For drop-off and pick-up please use the School Lane entrance (SK8 6LY), which will put you on the correct side of School for the holiday activities:
Kings Camps @ CHS
Kings Camps have been running engaging holiday multi activity camps for 4-14 year olds and Rookie Academy for 14-17 year olds for many years here at CHS. Dates for 2024 are available here.
Dance at the Smithy @ CHS
A full week of singing, dancing, drama and musical theatre! From 19-23 August, DATS is running 'Mean Girls and Back To The Future, The Musical'.
