Role: I deliver the PE and Games curriculum in the Senior School as well as BTEC Sport to 6th Form. I finished my MA in Education in 2021.

Qualifications: Level 4 Rugby Coach, Level 2 Strength & Conditioning Coach
Experience: Director of Rugby in National Leagues and Women’s Premiership. Head Coach of England Counties U18s.
Role: Overseeing the Rugby Programme here at CHS, managing the day-to-day running of the department, teaching the BTEC to our Sixth Form.

Experience: Played National League Volleyball and Netball. Played for English Universities Volleyball team
Role: Oversee and coordinate the co-curricular sports programme and facility use. I have a passion for sport and my role is to find all pupils at CHS a sporting passion that will stay with them for life.
Assistant Director of Sport & Head of Sport Science
Qualifications: Level 2 Hockey Coach
Experience: Plays for Alderley Edge 1st XI in the National League Conference North. Plays for Sale XI Women’s Football team. Coached Hockey in the USA for different colleges and the Maryland State national team.
Role: I deliver GCSE and A Level Sports Science, PE and Games curriculum in the Senior School as well as BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport to the 6th Form. In addition, I have developed Girls’ Football in conjunction with the Head of Football and I deliver Hockey to all years.
Teacher of PE, Games & Sports Science, Head of House
Qualifications: Level 2 Hockey Coach, Exercise to Music & licenced Zumba teacher
Experience: Played a vast array of sports to club level and specialises in Dance.
Role: I thoroughly enjoy teaching all sports to all year groups at CHS and nothing delights me more than a student learning how to execute skills they initially struggled with.
I also enjoy teaching Sports Science, which allows me to see the pupils’ academic ability as well as their sporting.

Experience: Coached at Oldham Athletic Development Centre, Football coach in New York, USA & La Manga, Spain.
Role: I deliver the PE and Games curriculum to the senior school. I also support in the delivery of the Football & Swimming co-curricular opportunites as well as many other sports. My aim is to help young people find a sport they enjoy and are passionate about, giving them the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Experience: Tennis coach 9 years in my old high school (all ages and abilities), Cricket coach (academy squads, underage representative and club level – team and 1:1), Cricket playing – NSW second XI, First grade premier Women’s cricket (Sydney) & Division 1 in Cheshire, Personal Trainer 4 years.
Role: I deliver the PE and Games curriculum to the senior school. My aim is to help young people find a sport they enjoy and are passionate about, giving them the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Role: I deliver the full PE curriculum to the Senior School and coach the boys Rugby, Football and Cricket teams. I also assist in the delivery of the Schools Co-curricular sports programme.

Qualifications: ECB Level 2 Cricket coach &
Handball coach
Experience: I am involved in England handballs talent pathway and also GB u21s squad.
I play Premier league handball currently. I also play club cricket in Cheshires' Premier league and I played academy football growing up.
Role: I deliver all sports across the whole school, as well as the swim outreach programme.
Focusing on the delivery of all handball at CHS. I also assist in both boys' and girls' cricket and football programmes.
Teacher of PE & Games, Head of Netball
Qualifications: Level 1 Netball Coach
Experience: Played netball for Wales, including the 2014 Commonwealth Games. Coached University of Chester 1st & 2nd netball teams.
Role: I support students who are new to netball and provide opportunities for them to develop. Additionally, I support students who are trialling for franchises and international teams. As a teacher of PE, I have a passion to provide students with opportunities to explore their interests and potential.
Head of Athletics
Qualifications: Level 2 Rugby Coach, Level 2 Cricket Coach, Level 1 Athletics Coach
Experience: Played National League Basketball, county athlete in the 400m and club Cricket in the Greater Manchester league.
Role: I am the Head of Athletics for the Senior School and oversee the development of our athletes whilst promoting the sport to everyone. I also coach our boys teams for Rugby, Football and Cricket. Academically I teach GCSE, BTEC and A Level Sports Science to the Upper School and Sixth Form and deliver the PE and Games curriculum to all age groups in the Senior School.
Head of Football
Qualifications: Level 3 Football Coach, FA Youth Award, FA Talent ID
Experience: Academy coach at Bury FC and Huddersfield Town FC; Manchester City Women’s 1st Team Head Coach
Role: I oversee the Football program for both boys and girls and give every student the opportunity to fulfil their potential and have the experience of representing the school whether that be as an A team, B team or C team player.
Head of Cricket
Qualifications: Level 3 Cricket Coach
Experience: Played for Lancashire County Cricket Club; made 256 appearances and won the County Championship
Role: I am responsible for the Senior boys’ teams and the entire girls’ CHS Cricket programme. Additionally, I provide specialist coaching across the rest of the school.
Head of Hockey
Qualifications: Level 3 Hockey Coach
Experience: Plays for Brooklands MU Hockey Club 1st XI in the Premier League. Coaches Alderley Edge Men’s 1st XI and at the England Hockey Performance Centre
Role: I oversee the Girls’ and Boys’ Hockey programme, developing Hockey at CHS across all levels and abilities from Junior School through Sixth Form.
