On PE Days, your child needs to wear tennis shoes for safety reasons. There are state standards for PE that students must learn and master. Therefore, if students are not wearing appropriate shoes to participate, the student's grade will be affected. You are welcome to place an extra pair of shoes in your child's backpack.
