I am so excited to be joining Martin this school year! This will be my third year teaching. On top of that, I spent some additional time teaching in Italy! I spent an entire summer teaching foundational math skills to kindergarteners out there!
I studied elementary education at the University of Oklahoma! BOOMER!!!
I have a one year old son named Lane and a two year old doodle named Lu! My fiancé Andrew and I love spending time outdoors with them! We also enjoy a night in playing board games!
I look forward to meeting my new class of Bobcats soon! I know it's going to be a great year!

Dress: Please send your child in TENNIS SHOES/SNEAKERS every day (with the exception of picture day). They will be participating in various activities throughout the day and want to ensure they have safe footwear!
Snacks: Students may bring a healthy snack and labeled water bottle with a flip-top lid each day. Please no screw-top bottles as these tend to spill. Only WATER is allowed in the classroom. Examples of appropriate snacks are Cheez-its, goldfish, granola bars, and pretzels. Please avoid sending snacks that require utensils to eat.
Birthdays: We would love to celebrate your child on their special day! You may drop off a labeled, store bought treat in the office. Cookies and cupcakes are great options. Please check with me on class size and possible allergies beforehand.
Homework: Homework will not be sent home at this time. You can help support your child at home by reading together each night, strengthening their math fact fluency with flashcards, playing games with dice and numbers (shut the box, farkle, cards), or any CISD approved websites linked on my Clever page.
Breakfast & Lunch: Create an account at SchoolCafe.com/CELINAISD to add funds to your child's lunch account.
Parents/Guardians: Complete the Volunteer Background Check. You will need this completed to attend our field trip and to volunteer at school.
Daily Folder
Your child will receive a Daily Folder that they will bring to and from school each day. This will contain their nightly reading log, calendar, as well as a leveled reader for them to practice.
