Hello Kindergarteners and Families!

My name is Ms. Perez, and I am so excited to begin this school year with you! I recently graduated from Abilene Christian University with a degree in Elementary Education, and I am thrilled to be joining the Celina community. I am from Sugar Land, Texas, and recently moved to Celina, so I am excited to explore this wonderful area.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy baking yummy treats, cooking meals for family and friends, spending time outdoors, going for walks in nature, trying new restaurants, shopping, and relaxing with my loved ones. This September, I will be getting married to my fiancé, G'anni, and I am excited to celebrate this special milestone and will have a new last name this school year! We also have a Catahoula Lab named Mala, who is just the sweetest! 

Teaching kindergarten is such a special opportunity because I get to help students develop a love for learning from the very beginning. I love creating fun, engaging, and memorable experiences that make learning exciting. My goal is to create a classroom where every child feels welcomed, valued, and encouraged to grow. I hope to make a positive impact on each student's life and help them discover their unique gifts, talents, and purpose.

I cannot wait to learn, grow, laugh, and make wonderful memories together this year. It's going to be an amazing year in kindergarten!
