Weathering Experiments
- I had students divided into 6 teams of 3-4 to each team
- Students should choose their roles and facilitator should make sure that they stick to them.
- I had two stations doing each experiment at a time (2 doing #1, 2 doing #2, etc.)
- Each experiment should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
- I stood at the demonstration table and monitored as materials managers collected materials.
- For a 1 hour class I was able to introduce the lesson (referring back to the Rock Cycle from previous lesson) discuss Success Criteria, have students complete 2 experiments, clean up, and have a brief discussion.
- Complete the 3rd experiment on next day.
