Volcán de Fuego or Chi'gag ("Volcano of Fire") is an active stratovolcano in Guatemala. It sits about 16 kilometers (9.9 mi) west of Antigua Guatemala, one of Guatemala’s most famous cities and a tourist destination. It has erupted frequently since the Spanish conquest and as recently as in June 2018.
