Scapula - Spine

The spine of the scapula is a prominent, more-or-less horizontal ridge of bone on the posterior surface of the scapula.  It crosses the medial four fifths of the scapula obliquely near the superior margin and separates the supraspinatous fossa from the infraspinatous fossa.
