Blunt dissection

Blunt dissection describes the careful separation of tissues by fingers or blunt instruments such as probes during dissection and also in surgical procedures. Blunt dissection is contrasted with sharp dissection, the practice of slicing through tissues with scalpels, scissors, electrosurgery, or other advanced technologies.
