Log into Onshape
Click here to open the PUBLIC version of Brophy Tutorial 1 - Sketching and Dimensioning
Click on "Make a Copy" in the upper left hand corner to create your own copy of this document.
Test your knowledge of sketching by performing this tutorial.
Perform the following tasks
1. LEFT CLICK on and read the tab Onshape Tutorial - Sketching, Dimensioning.pdf at the bottom of the browser window.
2. LEFT CLICK on and watch the Sketching video
3. LEFT CLICK on and review the Sketching-Finished tab to see what your finished sketch should look like.
- Right click on the Sketch to view how your finished sketch should appear.
- Note all lines are black when completed.
4. LEFT CLICK on the Sketching tab and perform all of the steps from the Sketching video. Your finished sketch should be IDENTICAL to the Sketching-Finished tab sketch. Fix it if it is not identical!
5. LEFT CLICK on and watch the Dimensions & Sketching video
6. LEFT CLICK on and review the Dimensions & Sketching - Finished tab to see what your finished sketch should look like.
- Right click on the Sketch to view how your finished sketch should appear.
- Note all lines are black when completed.
7. LEFT CLICK on the Dimensions & Sketching tab and perform all of the steps from the Dimensions & Sketching video. Your finished part should be IDENTICAL to the Dimensions & Sketching - Finished tab. Fix it if it is not identical!
