Find family contact information, IEP & 504 accommodations, and more!
Select the class to view at the top right
Select a student in the class list in the lower pane (some student info will display in the upper pane)
Click tabs at the top to view detailed student information:
Interventions, Goals, and Accommodations - dealing with IEP, 504, and discipline
Family Info - shows parents, phone numbers, addresses, etc. NOTE: If multiple families are connected to the student, you will select among them with a dropdown menu.
To take period attendance in WVEIS, middle & high school teachers will need to assign students to a seating grid. It does not have to be a "real" seating chart, but can be an alphabetical list for attendance if you prefer.
From your Teacher Tools screen, select Configuration and Seating Assignments
Add one section, named and numbered to suit you. The rows and columns determine the arrangement of seats in your chart.
Click the Seat Grid tab.
Click in a seat and select the student to add. Repeat for all students.
If students are missing from list, they are assigned seats outside of the rows and columns you set up. To fix this:
Click the Seat List tab
Select the students who can't be added to your grid
Delete their seating assignments (don't worry - this only deletes the seat, not the student!)
Return to the Seat Grid to add the students to your chart.
The new READ.IEP
Select a student to view in the left hand pane
Read the IEP in the right hand pane
Click "Mark as Read"
You can verify and correct grades directly in WVEIS!
Click on the ‘Grades Entry’ option on your home screen.
On this screen, you will see a list of your courses and the students in them. Use the dropdown boxes in the green bar above to choose the school and period (for those of you with multiple courses showing in one period for one school, it appears that it will show all courses for that period no matter which course you choose for a period). You should see a grade in the “1st Sem” or "1st 9 Wks" column. If there is no grade or it is incorrect, type in the correct letter grade. Leave the “Sem 1 GP”, “1st 9 Wks GP” and other term columns blank.
