First, complete the steps on the main Elementary Scheduling Day page
Return to main Elementary Scheduling Day page to check class lists and complete the scheduling process.
Courses and Scheduling -> School Courses and Educational Plans -> Education Plan Templates
NOTE: Education plans apply across years so you can use these next year!
Create a plan ID and description (e.g. HOMEROOM, Homerooom assignments by grade)
Click Grade Level Plans tab
Add all grades (-1 through 5)
Select a grade and click Courses tab
Enter that grade's homeroom course
Repeat for other grades
Within Scheduling Instances (NEXT year)
Click Students tab
Keep Clicking "More" above student list until all studens are displayed
Select all students (Ctrl + a)
Click Auto-Set
Select the Ed. Plan TemplateĀ
Submit (Enter)
Courses and Scheduling -> School Courses and Educational Plans -> Automatically Generate Course Requests
Set the Fiscal Year (NEXT year)
Submit/Enter
This sets up students for assignment to classes but will not change the classes you have already added
Ensure that all classes in your instance are marked Keep
Scheduling -> Automatic Scheduling -> Automatically Build Class Schedule
Select your Instance ID from the dopdown
Change Requests Required to 999 (so that it does not add any more classes)
Submit
Courses and Scheduling -> Automatic Scheduling -> Automatically Enroll Students in Classes
Select NEXT year at the top right
Select your Scheduling Instance to put students into
Distribute Students - can be checked or unchecked. Try both!
Submit/Enter (takes some time to process)
