School Review & Submission steps

  1. Verify student enrollment data

    1. Select "October Certified Collection" on dropdown

    2. Select "bucket" on the left, then "Details" tab to view students in each category.

    3. Recommendation: Start with "Excluded" bucket - many students are excluded due to incomplete address information. (see exclusion definitions)

    4. Check that information in each bucket is correct. If not, correct data in the appropriate WVEIS application.

2. Correct data edits/errors

    1. Select "Data Edit Check" on dropdown

    2. Open "Details" tab

    3. All edits labeled "Error" MUST be corrected before submitting (see definitions)

    4. Carefully check and correct the other potential issues flagged (see definitions)

3. Submit School Data
To be completed by the PRINCIPAL ONLY, after data are corrected and verified as described above.

    1. Select "October Certified Collection SY2022-2023" and “Current Data” options.

    2. Click the gray “Copy <<School Name>> to Certified Date File” button. You will see a confirmation message before submitting. Your data are now submitted!

    3. Select “Certified Data” to view the data that were submitted.

    4. To correct the data and update your submission, re-copy it to the certified data file by repeating steps 1-2 above.
