Geography 3/11-3/15/19

Monday 3/11/19:

• We started by collecting late work and recycled tests
• Then we checked in on Fanschool
• We also started our Determining borders activity by reading on pg 23
• We then used some maps of different religions and ethnic groups to draw borders that we think would resolve the most conflict or prevent the most conflict. 6 countries-use map on pg 24 (Graph below)

Homework:

• Late work ASAP
• Recycled test on Wednesday
• All Late work due by next Tuesday 3/19!
• Pg 24 due by Tuesday

Tuesday 3/11/19:

• We started by collecting late work and recycled tests.
• Then we got into groups and created a map of 6 countries based on the data.
  • Groups also wrote strengths and weaknesses of their choices
• If done early, began reading How the Middle East Got That way and questions

Homework:

• Late work ASAP
• Recycled test on Wednesday
• All Late work due by next Tuesday 3/19!
• Group Map-Wednesday

Wednesday 3/13/19:

• We collected late work and recycled tests
• Then we did our Eastern Mediterranean map
• We also had time to read pgs 26-28 in our workbook and answer questions on pg 29-30.

Homework:

• Late work ASAP
• Recycled test was due today!
• Study for SW Asia Test! Study guide on pg 3-4 and also below!
• All Late work due by next Tuesday 3/19!

Thursday 3/14/19:

• We started by collecting late work
• Then we analyzed the group maps about determining borders
• After looking at other groups we worked more on reading pgs 26-28 in our workbook and answer questions on pg 29-30.

Homework:

• Late work ASAP
• Map-Friday
• Study for SW Asia Test! Study guide on pg 3-4 and below!
• All late work due by next Tuesday 3/19!

Friday 3/15/19:

• We collected late work and checked Eastern Med. Maps
• Then we took notes on the History of Israel
• We then had time to finish our reading on pg 26-28 and Q's on pg 29-30

Homework:

• Late work-ALL DUE TUESDAY
• SW Asia test-study-Tuesday
• Pg 29-30 Due Monday
