Quest US History 1/2-1/5/2018

Tuesday 1/2/2018:

• We started by collecting late work
• Then we made a top 10 list of words or phrases related to the Civil War!
• We finished by starting to work on the Civil War Post-Assessment
  • Make sure to use complete sentences (1-2 for each!)

Homework:

• Post-Assessment-7th grade due Wednesday, 6th grade due Thursday
• Late work ASAP!

Wednesday 1/3/2018:

• 6th grade-at Science Rocks
• 7th grade- Mrs. Kamphenkel came in and gave us strategies to prevent stress and ways to help us reduce stress in our lives when we do get stressed! We also collected post assessments!

Homework:

• Late work! -ASAP
• 6th grade- finish post-assessment!

Thursday 1/4/2018:

• Today we collected post assessments from 6th grade
• Then we began learning about Reconstruction! We took notes and finished with a reflection about Lincoln's goals for Reconstruction!

Homework:

• Late work ASAP!
• Finish reflection for Friday!

Friday 1/5/2018:

• We started by collecting late work
• Then we discussed our reflection on Lincoln's plan for reconstruction.
• We then watched a video about Lincoln's Assassination and read a primary source article from the day after.

Homework:

• Late work only!
