Geography 1/16-1/19/2018

Tuesday 1/16/2018:

• We started by collecting late work and checking any last extra credits that were missed last week.
• We also answered any questions about high school registration.
• Then we finished our Ch 10 presentations and wrapped up our discussion about Ch 10
• We finished the hour by watching the video MAYA-Messages in Stone which talked more about the Ancient Mayan traditions. **Note this video does talk about human sacrifice as it was used in Ancient Mayan practice. • Finish any late work ASAP

Wednesday 1/17/2018:

• We started by collecting late work
• Then we did the preview for our demographic activity (pg. 10-11 in workbook)
• We also did the prep and looked at data to create graphs for 14 countries in Latin America!

Homework:

• Finish graphs for your country by Tomorrow!
• High School Registration form by Friday!
• Late work ASAP!

Thursday 1/18/2018:

• We started by collecting late work
• Then Mrs. Kamphenkel talked about high school registration reminders and did a reality check activity with us to talk about costs after graduation:

• We then went to the computer lab to look at and finish our registration

Friday 1/19/2018:

• We started by collecting late work and the parent signature forms for high school registration!
• Then we analyzed the wall graphs on Latin America Demographics using the form below and pages 12-13 in our workbooks!
