The Karch Family
Lillian was born on February 3 1915 to Henry and Amelia (Gottschalk)Schell. The Karch family lived between Baker and Plevna Montana. Their mother had seven children and they are all married. Lillian and her husband made their home on the Draper place west of Baker and eventually purchased Kneasel farm North of Green Arces. Before they moved to Baker they lived in Glendive. At the age of three Lillian’s family move to Lame Jones area in southwest Fallon County.
After Attending Bible college in Minneapolis, Minnestota. Lillian moved to Baker where she worked for Dr.Tarbox. That is where she met Charles J. Karch. October 11 1936, Lillian and Charles were married at the Baptist Church in Plevna. In 1963 Lillian and Charlie bulit a new home in Baker where they lived until Charles death in 1981. Lillian enjoyed sewing, cooking, raising a garden and canning.
