Jillian Palomino is a sophomore at Badin. She has many interests, such as music, reading, and art. However, despite her quiet and mild-mannered exterior, some of her interests are a lot less common.

“I enjoy a lot of things other people wouldn’t,” Jillian said. “I like splatterpunk, and collecting [animal] skeletons... from the woods.”

In an interview, she stated that she enjoyed reading, and “drawing while watching YouTube.” She reads a large variety of books, from the splatterpunk comedy/horror novel John Dies at the End to the romantic drama Dear Evan Hansen.

She says that later in life, she wants to be either a coroner, or to work for an organ donation bank.
