Volleyball is the life of most teenage girls and that is no different for sophomore Katie Hiernaux.
This overachieving kid plays volleyball and is a part of multiple religious clubs like U4U and Magnified Giving.
“I love volleyball, I have been playing it for eight years.” Hiernaux said.
Baidn volleyball is debatably the hardest team to make at Badin with 50 plus girls trying out each year.
“It means alot to make the team because it is the hardest team to make at Badin, and it pays off for my hard work.” Hiernaux said.
She plays for the Junior Varsity team as a back row player and loves it because it does not require her to be tall. It also gives her better looks for coaches and parents.
Besides volleyball, Hiernaux is really big into Magnified Giving.
“I like how related it is and how one can go once in a while and still make a difference in the world.” Hiernaux said.
Magnified Giving is one of the most popular clubs at Badin with over 40 members at each meeting.
Overall Katie Hiernaux is a cool person and is super fun to be around.
