WIDA English Language Charts

The Language Charts support teachers:

• Share and discuss students’ expressive and interpretive language development with content teachers, coaches, counselors, and administrators.

• Collaborate with content teachers and grade-level teams to document students’ language development progress and plan curriculum, instruction, and classroom assessment. 

• Supplement WIDA ACCESS scores with individual student samples to provide a more comprehensive portrait of

a student’s language development.
