EL Eligibility/ELP Screener Date

The date of the English language proficiency screener is the testing date a student is screened for the ESOL program and is determined to be an English Learner student. Be sure this date matches the eligibility date in the EL tab in Infinite Campus.

Note: For transfer EL students, indicate the date the ELP Screener was administered in the transferring District. This is NOT the date the EL student enrolls in the APS ESOL Program.

ELP Screener Date Unavailable for Out-of-State or In-State Transfer EL Students 

When APS is unable to determine with certainty the Date of ELP screener for Out-of-State or In- State transfer EL Students, the ESOL teacher will construct this date as follows:

1. Determine the school year for which you have the earliest ELP assessment results.

2. Use the first day of school for that school year, as the Date of ELP screener.
