The objective of my advocacy project for the AP Environmental class of 2024 was to inform the community of Palmer if solar panels or wind turbines were more energy-effective, cost-effective and the least amount of maintenance. There were posters placed around town on public bulletin boards to inform the public on which one was best here in Palmer. The main goal of this project was to encourage residents to be informed about renewable energy and hopefully get people to become more aware of their energy usage and a possible alternative.
