The large problem with plastics and microplastics due to not recycling or even if recycled, not making sure every piece of garbage and/or plastic makes it to where it is supposed to go, is constantly growing our society today. Luckily for us, there are things we can do to combat the ever-growing problem of plastic pollution. For example, simply reducing the amount of waste that you throw away, shopping more wisely by using a sustainable bag and not plastic, and respecting habitats by not even having any sort of trash when you're near water ways or habitats like that. The goal is this project is to provide information to the students of my school/community by posting to social media and in my school, informational posters about how to recycle better, and projects that are occurring to clean up microplastics in our waters. Hopefully by doing this, it will intrigue the kids, or anybody in my community to help make a change.
