ANNOUNCEMENTS

• T-BALL May 17 and 20th. ****CHANGE OF PLANS: On Thursday the 19th, the Ellsworth JV softball team was going to join us for a game. They have had a game rescheduled that do, so they are now joining us on FRIDAY, MAY 20th. We will NOT have practice on Thursday. We will be playing a game with the JV team on Friday from 2:30 - 3:00. You are welcome to join us to watch!

• PRE-K - 2 TRIP TO THE BANGOR CHILDREN'S MUSEUM
  Wednesday, May 18th. We will be leaving school around 9:30 and returning around 1:45. We will be transporting in the school van (I will be driving).

WEEKLY HAPPENINGS

On Monday, Mr. Max, a fishery biologist from the National Marine Fisheries Service, came to teach us about the Atlantic Salmon that we are raising in our class. *On a side exciting note: Our eggs are now alevins and have tails!!*. Max taught us how rivers and streams work and some of the challenges Atlantic Salmon have as they return to their place of birth to spawn.

We completed our writing opinion pieces!!! We spent a lot of time practicing reading our pieces and then we recorded them.
