We worked on finishing up our Fairy Tales and Folk Tales unit this week. We had some fun brainstorming our own fractured fairy tale ideas. We continued to read a variety of versions of fairy tales.

In art class with Mrs. Linders, everyone drew dragons to go along with our fairy tale study. They were very creative and fantastically magical!

In our kindergarten math group we are working on groups of numbers. We completed a fun activity where we had to sort though 8 bags and count the number of blocks in each bag. We then had to correlate the bag (labeled with a letter) to the number on a chart.

In first grade math we are working on addition strategies, data collecting, and graphing.

In second grade math we are working on balancing equations, solving for missing addends, and adding numbers to 100.

On Thursday we had our holiday party! It was a lot of fun and thank you for the goodies that were sent in!

We combined our party with a celebration of finishing up our fairy tales by watching Cinderella.
