WEEKLY HAPPENINGS
This week, I only managed to get photos of a couple of events throughout our week. As the end of the trimester is rolling around, we have been busy doing assessments. It is always fun to see how much we have grown! The kids enjoy looking back at their work from the start of the year to see their growth.
On Wednesday, we celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday by reading Dr. Seuss books, including Bartholomew and the Oobleck. We then made our own oobleck, with Pre-K joining us! I apologize for all of the green stains. I thought that paint would stain less than food coloring, but boy was I wrong!
In science this week we continued our study of the solar system and started to learn about stars and constellations. On Friday, we started the process of making our own constellation tubes. We painted them black and next week, when they are dry, we will each choose a constellation to place at the end so we can view it!
