WEEKLY HAPPENINGS
We continued our work on opinion writing this week. We have been doing some short writing prompts as we learn the format of opinion writing. We have also been reading some very fun books, including, "Unicorns are the Worst!" by Alex Willan.
We have been learning some new math games to add to our stations. We learned two games called, "Capture the Squares", and "What's my Shape?".
This month our school has focused on learning about empathy. On Thursday, we had a school wide assembly. Our class presented words you can say to help others feel welcome and that show you care for them. Everyone did a fantastic job presenting in front of the school!
On Friday, Daniel from Mr. C.'s class shared with us his research on the James Webb Space Telescope. We learned about light waves and we watched the launch that happened on Christmas day. Thank you to Daniel for sharing your learning with us!
For chess this week, we partnered with each other!
