ANNOUNCEMENTS

• Monday, February 14th: Valentine's Day Party with Pre-K! I will have extra Valentines in the classroom, if your child needs them.

• Stargazing night: We will be postponing this night until after vacation.

• February 21-25: February Vacation

WEEKLY HAPPENINGS

This week we made some big changes in the room and rearranged the classroom. We now have a lot more space to move around and with the help of the kids, the room looks great!

This week was all about the very exciting 100th day of school. We started Thursday by making 100 days smarter crowns.

We then had fun with 100! We build objects out of 100 legos, 100 blocks, 100 pattern blocks, 100 unifix cubes and created books with 100 stamps!

We had fun with an aging app to see what we would look like at 100 years old!

Everyone counted out 100 Froot Loops and made necklaces.

We finished the day doing a walkaround to view everyone's 100 day projects from Pre-K to 5th grade!

On Friday morning we started our day by playing chess with some 3-5 friends to help us continue to learn how to play.

We then enjoyed an afternoon continuing on with 100 day activities. We played roll to 100, created 100 themed wrist bands, had fun with dot markers and color words, continued with our stamp books and continued building with 100!
