• Thank you all for joining us for our T-Ball game and helping to make it special for our teams! Thank you to Mrs. Linders and the Ellsworth JV softball team for helping us with the game and a HUGE thank you to Mr. Linders for coaching!

• END OF YEAR ACTIVITIES

June 3rd: Father’s Day Breakfast at 8:30am in the school gym.

June 8th: Field Day at Airline Community School.

June 9th: School trip to Great Pond. 8th grade graduation.

June 10th: PreK - 7th field trip to Lamoine State Park. Bus will be leaving school

at 9:00am. We will be grilling hotdogs for lunch at the park.

June 13th: Last day of school!! It will be early dismissal (12:00).

Some photos from T-Ball this week:

This week we started to learn about simple machines and objects in motion. We learned about different types of simple machines and on Friday, we tested out levers. We created simple catapults with rulers and chose two different fulcrums to launch a pompom. We drew our levers and fulcrums to document our work and recorded our findings by measuring how far we were able to launch the pompom. Sorry I did not get photos of everyone, it was quite busy!

Mrs. Jones invited us to watch her students erupt their volcanoes they created as part of a geology unit.
