WEEKLY HAPPENINGS

I was not so great with pictures this week. And, some of our activities we did this week are Christmas surprises so I didn't take pictures :-)

This week we had fun reading and acting out The Gingerbread Man! We continued learning about fairy tales. We learned that the good guys are called 'protagonists' and the bad guys are called 'antagonists'. We continue to use fairy tales and folktales to practice retelling.

This week we drew pictures for and did a shared writing of a thank you letter to Corporal Taylor for visiting our classroom last week with his K9 partner, Oscar.

And we had a wonderful book buddies afternoon again.
