ANNOUNCEMENTS

• END OF YEAR ACTIVITIES

Tuesday, June 7th: Field Day at Airline Community School. This is a change due to weather. PLEASE PACK A FULL SET OF CLOTHES (including undies) for your child(ren). We often get quite wet!

Thursday, June 9th: *K-2 trip to Great Pond (some 6 and 7th graders might join us to help out) We will be heading down the road after lunch (around 11:30) and will be back by 3pm. PACK BATHING SUIT AND TOWEL in case the sun comes out! We will be going rain or shine, as there are lots of things we can do inside.

* 8th grade graduation: 6:00 PM

Friday, June 10th: PreK - 7th field trip to Lamoine State Park. Bus will be leaving school at 9:00am. We will be grilling hotdogs for lunch at the park. Kids are welcome to swim so pack a bathing suit and towel! ALL ARE WELCOME!! When you arrive at the park, just tell them that you are with Airline Community School. You are also welcome to drive your child(ren) home at the end of the day- just let me know before you leave!

Monday, June 13th: Last day of school!! It will be early dismissal (12:00).

WEEKLY HAPPENINGS

This week I have focused on completing end of the year assessments. It has been fun to stop and celebrate all of our individual accomplishments! With all of the individual work, I did not take many photos, nor did we do a lot of full class projects.

On Friday we made simple machine cars. They took a lot of work to make, but came out fantastic!
