This year’s cohort were in year 8 at the start of the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns, with uncertainties and disruption as they prepped for their A Levels. The resilience and hard work shown by this group of students has been impressive, reflected both in their results and determination to do well.
To help prepare for this year’s examinations, the school has provided extra support, guidance, counselling, tutoring, run extra classes and opened the school in the holidays. Not forgetting the fantastic support offered from the teaching staff.
Head of the Sixth Form, Chris Trace, said:
“I am so proud of this cohort of students! As the Sixth Form continues to grow, so do the results, and our students are leaving us for some outstanding destinations thanks to their hard work and determination which is always boosted by the support of our fantastic staff. We can’t wait to see what they go on to achieve in the future!”
Principal at Lift Richmond Park, James Whelan, said:
“I am delighted and proud of our students who have worked hard over 7 years and got amazing results, with many going onto university, further study or apprenticeships. Director of education at Lift Schools, Phil Humphreys said:
