The Prairie Lakes AEA is holding a Public Hearing at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 5, 2012 at the SCC MS in Rockwell City to receive public comments and input on the proposed reorganization and vote for Rockwell City-Lytton and Southern Cal Community Schools into South Central Calhoun Community Schools. The vote is scheduled for Tuesday, February 5, 2013.

Individual members of the Rockwell City-Lytton and Southern Cal Boards of Directors will be in attendance at the Prairie Lakes AEA Public Hearing on November 5. While a quorum of either board may be present, the Public Hearing will not be an official meeting of either district’s board. The public hearing is an official meeting of the Prairie Lakes AEA.

No school meeting agenda will be posted, no action or discussion items will be set forth, and no minutes will be prepared for Rockwell City-Lytton or Southern Cal Boards of Directors.

All members of the public are encouraged to attend to learn more about the process of reorganization and be able to ask questions. Contact either district business office with questions.
