San Deigo Zoo

Walt: think about my purpose and reader by planning my recount.

Instructions:

You are going to be writing a plan and an introduction about your virtual tour of San Diego Zoo.

Zoo Tour

Go on to the Zoo tour link. Explore the zoo animals and listen to what the zoo keepers have to say about the animals. Make sure you watch at least 2 videos and take notes about the animals.

Plan

Open the planning template.

With your class you are going to be discussing potential vocabulary that you could use for your recount.

You will need to decide what the purpose of your recount is going to be. The purpose will help guide your recount, and help you write the recount for your reader.

You will also need to plan your paragraphs. Your paragraphs should be guided by the chosen purpose of your recount.
