Instructions:
Whenever you post a learning followup or creation to your blog you are expected to add 2 paragraphs that explain your understanding and thinking that went with your creating. Not to just publish your creation!
So this week we are going to work on this in our reading groups. We will be focusing on what we must include in these two paragraphs, how we write to teach others about what we have learnt and how we do all of this and still keep our audience interested.

Instructions:
This week we are going to write an explanation of your game. You need to think about what you have included in your animation and to explain why you have made it this way for your audience. You need to make sure that your explanation is clear so that anyone could play the game just from reading it.
Writing an Introduction

Instructions:
This week we are going to practice writing an introduction. Start by writing an engaging opening sentence about the picture on the right.
Can you come up with the most creative sentence? As a class we will choose our top three sentences. You will choose which one you like the most and write your paragraph using this sentence as the topic
sentence.
Writing Reflection & Goal Setting

Instructions: You are going to asses your ANZAC writing story with
a buddy. You will need to think critically about what you did well,
what you could change and what is your goal for your next piece of writing. As part of your reflection you will do the following: 1. Mark your writing using our paragraph rubric 2. Write two paragraphs explaining your thinking and outlining your goal.
Free Blog Writing
Walt: write for an audience
Instructions: You are to create a piece of writing based on a topic that you are interested in. This could include something you are doing/done with your family in the weekend, sport you are playing, movies you have/are going to watch, or even write the next chapter
of a book that you are writing.
ANZAC Assembly
Part 1 Walt: Create a detailed introduction to hook the audience
Instructions: You are to write a recount about our ANZAC assembly. This is only going to be our introduction of our writing piece so only add the most important details. Remember to think carefully about your introduction and your use of interesting vocabulary.
Things to add are:
* Where, When, Who & Why
* How did you feel? What was the mood?
* What were some key features of the remembrance assembly? e.g., The last post, reveille, The ode of remembrance, etc.
Part 2 Walt: Develop meaningful ideas by adding detail.
Instructions: For our remaining body paragraphs we are going to add detail by researching some key dates. You are going to use this RESEARCH doc to help you research.
