Reading Comprehension Prep

Walt: share our thinking accurately

Instructions:

1. Reading Comprehension Prep

This week we are practising how to answer reading test questions with accuracy. You will be given the opportunity to practice by sitting 5 short e-AsTTle tests. 2. Complete this task in the following order: - Make sure to start from test 2 (as we are working on test 1 together). - Read the text very thoroughly so that you understand the text. - Read questions very carefully so that you understand the question and can answer them correctly. If you don't understand the question read it again! - Complete the test. Don't finish the test early! You need to practice checking your work and doing your best. There are prizes of PTs for first, second & third on each test in our class. - As a class we will then mark and reflect - figure out what we need to do better next time.

Missing the Bus

- We are going to create a google presentation that shows our personal definitions of new or interesting vocab.

- You are to choose 4 words from this weeks text, Missing the Bus, and complete the definition process.

- You are going to create an advert to help Anthony fundraise the money he needs to go on the ski trip.
